Alaska is looking mighty fine.
Thinking more and more about a trip up to Alaska in the future. Videos like this are fueling the fire quite a bit, but there is just so much amazing things to see and do up there. It’s calling me and it’s getting louder.
I need to get the vehicle situation under control first, though. Maybe this time next year I hope to get up there. The Toyota is gone now, and next up in the vehicle line up is looking to be a Jeep Cherokee. It will take some work, but I like that well enough. This go around is going to be a family expedition style 4×4, so a little different than the past in some aspects. The more I look at the XJ platform the more I like it, so I’m starting to get pretty excited. I’ll post up some pics when I get the thing here in a couple of weeks. It’s a 2001 from Arizona, so no previous wheeling and no rust. That’s a good place to start.
For now I’ll have to drive the chevy, it’s 2 wheel drive, but it does ok.
